E. William Scott, III, "Bill", 69, son of the late Earle W. and Arline L. (Adams) Scott, born in Providence, RI, died Dec. 29'th after a brief illness. Bill was the founder of the Muskrat Sawmill in East Freetown, MA, which he operated for over 20 years, with his son Allen. He leaves his children and their spouses; Douglas Scott (Wendy), Allen Scott (Kristen), Una Fretthold (Sean), Evan Scott (Kate), Brothers; Gregory and Reverend Jefferson Scott and 10 grandchildren. He was predeceased by sisters; Ariel Willever and Melissa Robbins. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 5'th, at 11:00 AM, in the Seekonk Congregational Church, 600 Fall River Ave., Seekonk, MA. Burial is private.
